The most improved unit on the field, the Panthers secondary has played at a remarkably high level over the past two weeks especially. While there are still issues with covering opposing tight ends and giving up a lot of completions in the middle of the field, this group has adjusted well.

Reid continues to work his way back from a long layoff, all while learning a new system and as he gets more comfortable the results should follow. Already he has shown considerable improvement and a near interception two weeks ago (reversed after replay review) turned into one that couldn’t be questioned against the Buccaneers.

Both Jackson and James Bradberry continue to control the outside with the latter drawing the most difficult assignment weekly yet still producing positive results.
