Everything you need to know about the Carolina Panthers Week 16 contest.

The Carolina Panthers losing streak grew to six games last week and guaranteed there would be no winning season. After an impressive start to the year, the Panthers have failed to win a single game over the second half, during the worst collapse since both Ron Rivera and Cam Newton joined the franchise.

Two games remain but neither will feature Newton. Carolina and Rivera recently made the difficult decision to sit their star quarterback for the remainder of the season. Suffering from shoulder soreness since mid-year, hopes are the extra time off allows for Newton to begin a healing process and return at full strength for the start of training camp.

Atlanta is also in the midst of a disappointing season, no stranger to injuries themselves. Battling a depleted secondary and issues at other areas of the roster, the Falcons just stopped a five game slide of their own with a win over Arizona last week. Both teams are looking to carry some momentum into the offseason by defeating a divisional rival late in the year.

Following is everything you need to know in order to prepare for the Panthers and Falcons.
