The highest graded position on offense, Chrisitan McCaffrey carried this team for much of the season. Bestowed as the primary back during the offseason, Carolina toyed with a power back in C.J. Anderson but ultimately decided to roll with McCaffrey in nearly every situation.

The second-year player answered, setting records along the way and finished as only the third player in NFL history with 100 receptions and 1,000 yards rushing. Joining Matt Forte and LaDainian Tomlinson, the Panthers back has set the bar high for his career.

Cameron Artis-Payne finished as the second leading running back with 69 yards and all but 13 came in the final game. Turner relied more on Newton and receivers to move the football on the ground but another versatile back could be targeted in the upcoming NFL Draft.
