Ross Cockrell, CB

Charlotte native and former fourth-round pick (2014) Ross Cockrell bounced around the league before landing with Carolina last season. Spending time with Buffalo, Pittsburgh and the New York Giants, Cockrell was expected to compete last year for significant playing time in a reserve role.

Unfortunately, a gruesome leg injury suffered during training camp required surgery and caused him to miss an entire year. Hoping to earn a full-time position, Cockrell recorded six tackles during the past two preseason games.
