Luke Kuechly – LB

Through four weeks, Panthers defensive captain Luke Kuechly has the fourth most tackles in the league (44). The future Hall of Fame inductee will need to keep up his dominant play this week against a formidable running game led by an absolute bell cow in Leonard Fournette.

Fournette had his best game of his last two seasons in Denver on Sunday, racking up a whopping 225 yards on 29 carries. The Panthers, who have struggled against the run thus far, will need their leader to be locked in to prevent runs like these.

Fournette feeds off his own momentum, but will be discouraged if Carolina can contain him early. Kuechly is currently on pace for 176 tackles this season, which would be a career high. He will need to lead the charge in stopping the run in this one, and I’ll be keeping tabs on him throughout.
