Cam Newton as Kyle Allen

How funny would this be? There’s been a lot of debate about whether or not the Panthers should continue with Kyle Allen or let Cam Newton play once healthy and this outfit also has the potential to ruffle some feathers. But let’s face it, any costume Newton chooses is going to upset at least some portion of the Panthers fan base because of who’s inside, not what he’s wearing.

From post game wardrobe selections to seemingly anything else, Newton has been a lightning rod for controversy since entering the league. He helped to revolutionize the quarterback position and set multiple records for both the franchise and league during his tenure but even Rivera has been hesitant to display a commitment to the former No. 1 overall pick.

Never one to lack confidence, electing to don an Allen jersey on Halloween (or before) would be classic.
