Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos are in desperate need of wide receiver help going into 2020. This makes them a likely candidate for a move up to grab one of the better prospects in the top-ten.

This is going to easier said than done from the mid-rounds. But they would be foolish not to at least explore the possibility if the opportunity presents itself. General manager John Elway seems intent on going forward with Drew Lock in the interim, so he is going to need plenty of assistance from other areas of the field to make the starting spot his own long-term.

Courtland Sutton showed glimpses of promise in 2019. But the Broncos need someone reliable on the other side of the field from this Draft. Moving up to No. 7 will not be cheap, but a wait and see approach might backfire depending on how the early selections go.

The 2020 wide receiver class is widely regarded as one of the deepest in recent memory. It is absolutely loaded with talent and teams will be able to find productive prospects as late as the sixth round.

Carolina is a prime position as they only have eight picks and will probably be looking for more to assist them during a period of transition. The Broncos are a team that has one or two serious needs and this can be addressed with another bold move.
