Carolina Panthers: 3 NFC South signings that cause most concern
By Dean Jones
The Carolina Panthers will not have an easy time of things in the NFC South next season, but what free-agent signings cause the most concern?
If things were expected to be difficult for the Carolina Panthers in 2020. It has been made far tougher by the increased strength around the NFC South.
The franchise is nowhere near challenging for honors next season, which cannot be said for two other rival teams within the division. The New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are primed for a tilt at glory after some eye-catching moves both in free agency and the NFL Draft.
Much will also be expected of the Atlanta Falcons given the offensive weapons at their disposal. But there are still severe question marks regarding their defense and it remains to be seen whether it will hold up against other offenses across the league.
When one takes all this into consideration, it is not hard to see why the consensus is that the Carolina Panthers are going to struggle in 2020. Their roster has been completely overhauled in the hope of transforming the fortunes of the franchise in the coming years.
That is not expected to happen next season and it would be foolish for any Panther fan to consider otherwise. Some of the lowly projections seem like a worst-case scenario for a team that does still have a lot of talent, even though their experience playing with one another is minimal.
The NFC South is going to be a must-watch in 2020 for so many reasons. Much of this has to do with the new signings each organization has made to possibly lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season.
With that being said, which three players have the potential to cause the most concern for the Carolina Panthers during the 2020 campaign?
