The Panthers depth chart looks a lot stronger with the presence of the former Penn State standout. He has an incredibly high ceiling and will gain a tremendous amount during his rookie year with so much potential around him.
How Matt Rhule and Phil Snow utilize Gross-Matos will be one of the more intriguing aspects of the Panthers season. There is an untold amount of potential within the prospect and how they harness this will be crucial.
The franchise also has high hopes for Efe Obada going forward. The Nigerian-born player is going to be used in a variety of different ways thanks to his superb skill set and physical attributes.
This makes him a key component on the Panthers depth chart in a rotational role either at defensive end or from one of the tackle spots. He plays every down with relentless energy and unrivaled enthusiasm. So one would be hard-pressed to find anyone routing against such a likable character.

Others who are looking to make it onto the 53-man roster include Marquis Haynes, Chris Smith, and Christian Miller. This would further add to some outstanding firepower that is arguably the strongest area on the Panthers depth chart heading into training camp.
