Carolina Panthers all-time list: Jordan Gross – OT (No. 8)

Panthers Career: 2003-2013

A great quarterback can only be as good as his offensive line allows him to be. Jordan Gross protected the blindside of Carolina’s quarterbacks for almost a decade.

Gross was an incredibly durable tackle throughout his career. The only time he missed more than one game due to injury was in 2009 when he was still able to suit up for over half of the season.

Offensive linemen rarely get any love. But last summer owner David Tepper inducted him into the Panthers Hall of Honor recognizing his incredible career.

Gross protected the best two quarterbacks to play for Carolina in Delhomme and Newton.

Carolina Panthers all-time list: Christian McCaffrey – RB (No. 7)

Panthers Career: 2017-Present

What current Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey has been able to do in his first three years in the NFL is nothing short of remarkable.

Spoiler alert: he is the only current Carolina player to make our list. If he continues to play at the level we have seen the last two seasons then there is reason to believe he could move his way all the way up to the No. 1 spot.

McCaffrey is the most dynamic and complete running back that the Panthers have ever had. There were questions about rather or not he would be durable enough to run between the tackles in the NFL. But the former Stanford Cardinal quickly put these questions to rest.

He was rewarded as an NFL All-Pro at two different positions last year as he became the third running back in the history of the league to rush and receive for over 1,000 yards in the same season.

He never takes a snap off and is one of the very few running backs in today’s NFL that can do it all.
