What are the four strongest positions for the Carolina Panthers heading into a crucial training camp?

The Carolina Panthers are heading into a crucial training camp as preparations gather pace ahead of the new season. This has the potential to be shortened drastically by the NFL in the current climate. So it is vital that this group comes together in a short space of time to give them the best possible chance of remaining competitive.

Going through a rebuild is never easy. And there have been plenty of obstacles in the Carolina Panthers way this offseason. This has left expectations at an all-time low. But there is a chance they could surprise a few if everything falls into place from the word go.

Some positions on the roster appear to be far stronger than others. Questions still remain about the offensive line and their ability to protect Teddy Bridgewater sufficiently. And their cornerback position is another area that represents a possible complication in the wake of James Bradberry’s free-agent departure to the New York Giants.

There doesn’t appear to be too much riding on their chances in 2020 for the coaching staff. New head coach Matt Rhule has been given a seven-year deal worth a reported $60 million to lead the Panthers back to prominence. And although he has an immensely impressive record of turning around struggling college programs. This has not come in his first year at the helm.

Despite the Panthers’ relative lack of experience, some positions on the roster immediately jump out as areas that could make a real difference as the season progresses. We picked out the top four strongest going into training camp.
