Which members of the Carolina Panthers could become secret weapons for the organization in 2020?

Things could go either way for the Carolina Panthers in 2020. They are working with almost a completely new starting unit. And their lack of time together will not do their chances of becoming a cohesive unit any good before the team takes the field for a week one clash against the Las Vegas Raiders.

New head coach Matt Rhule will find out quickly what sort of characters he will be working with next season. Most of those projected to start from day one are devoid of starting experience. And the Panthers will be hoping that youth can triumph in the face of adversity.

Whether this can come to fruition on a difficult looking schedule is anyone’s guess. Carolina has plenty of athletic players on both sides of the ball. But they will be coming up against teams that are aiming to mount a challenge for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The likes of Christian McCaffrey, Brian Burns, Kawann Short, and D.J. Moore are some of the more prominent playmakers that will be expected to make a telling contribution throughout the campaign. However, the Panthers also have some under-the-radar individuals that could emerge as secret weapons for the organization in 2020.

This will do their chances of surprising people the world of good. A postseason berth looks highly unlikely during the first year of Carolina’s rebuild. But if some diamonds in the rough can emerge then it is going to be a significant asset to have next season and possibly beyond.

Here are four players that might fall into this category for the Panthers next season.
