Which members of the Carolina Panthers could be on their final chance against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football?

It promises to be an intriguing matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football. This is a real crossroads game for Matt Rhule’s men after two straight defeats and they have to get back to winning ways given their next two games come against leading Super Bowl favorites.

This is the first time that the Carolina Panthers have played on primetime this season. They are flying somewhat under the radar given the lack of expectancy surrounding the organization prior to the campaign. But that won’t be the case if they show out in front of a nationally televised audience.

Although the Panthers were narrowly beaten at the Saints last time out, they can take great heart from their performance. The offense moved the ball fluidly enough before a critical sack on a potentially game-winning play and if they can continue this trend in the face of a suspect Falcons defense then it should be the catalyst behind a possible fourth triumph of the campaign.

Considering that five wins were the ceiling for Carolina according to most experts’ opinions, they are performing at a level few expected. The next month will bring its own challenges, but the team can get off on the right foot against a Falcons side that collapsed yet again at home to the Detroit Lions in Week 7.

Let’s examine which Panthers players go into Thursday’s game with a big point to prove.
