There is plenty of speculation in the air regarding ins and outs for the Carolina Panthers before the 2020 trade deadline. It has been something of a rollercoaster ride for the organization at the midway point of the season, which is pretty much as expected given the number of changes made to the coaching staff and roster.
Whether the Carolina Panthers will want to boost their ranks in the hope of turning around their three-game losing slump is up for debate. They are in the process of rebuilding and might decide that draft capital is more important than a proven veteran who might come with more of a financial commitment.
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see NFL teams with a more realistic chance of making the postseason in 2020 making some calls regarding specific players on their roster. This is something Carolina might consider for the right player if they can muster up some extra draft selections, and given their prospects going forward it could be something we see happen before the November 3 deadline.
Just who would be on the block is another matter. The Panthers aren’t blessed with great depth on their roster and losing a player or two in the trade market would only lessen their chances of turning around its concerning recent form.
