Prediction, best bets, and what to expect for the Carolina Panthers at Chiefs.

The Carolina Panthers are bracing themselves for their toughest challenge of the 2020 season. Sunday’s game at the Kansas City Chiefs will tell us plenty about how far this group has come in a short space of time. But whether they can upset the odds and secure the unlikeliest of victories is another matter entirely.

This should be a good measuring stick for the Carolina Panthers, who are looking to get themselves back into postseason contention sooner rather than later. They are sure to get all they can handle and more from the Chiefs, who are in red-hot form as Andy Reid’s men go in search of back-to-back Super Bowl titles.

In quarterback Patrick Mahomes, they possess the new face of the NFL, and Kansas City has done a tremendous job of keeping the majority of last season’s championship-winning roster intact in their pursuit of becoming a dynasty. They can hurt you in so many ways from an offensive perspective, with the Chiefs’ defense also boasting some prominent playmakers who can make their presence felt.

All this leaves little in the way of expectations regarding Carolina’s chances of winning in Week 9. Head coach Matt Rhule will be all-too-aware of the size of the task awaiting his young roster and if they can emerge out of the contest with any sort of momentum, it will be a bonus.

Here are some thoughts on what to expect from the game, best bets, how to watch, and a score prediction as the Panthers look to pull off the biggest shock of the season.
