Which Vikings players should the Carolina Panthers worry about in Week 12?

The Carolina Panthers can go into their bye week on a high with a victory at the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. This will be another big challenge for Matt Rhule’s young roster to overcome., but they look to be getting some key men back into the lineup following their impressive shutout win over the Detroit Lions last time out.

It has been a long road to the bye for the Carolina Panthers, one that has brought plenty of twists and turns along the way. This will probably leave them on the outside looking in regarding a postseason berth this season. But that might not be the case for much longer.

Minnesota’s playoff hopes are also teetering on the brink following their disastrous loss to the Cowboys in Week 11. This game represents a do-or-die one for Mike Zimmer’s men and another defeat would see them looking towards next season.

Here are four Vikings players that the Panthers need to be concerned about when they take the field at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.

Eric Kendricks – LB

Eric Kendricks didn’t get selected to the All-Pro team in 2019 by accident. He is an elite linebacker who sets the tone on defense in Minnesota similar to what Luke Kuechly used to give the Panthers before his shock retirement this offseason.

The former UCLA standout excels in run support and also makes a substantial difference in coverage. Kendricks is the communicator at the second level that the Panthers wish they still had and he is going to make things incredibly difficult for Carolina to move the football efficiently.
