How much will Curtis Samuel command in 2021 free agency?

How much will the Carolina Panthers have to pay Curtis Samuel?
It promises to be another offseason period full of intrigue for the Carolina Panthers. The decisions made will have huge ramifications as the team looks to make a bigger impression in year two of Matt Rhule’s reign as head coach and it’s clear that a substantial amount of maneuvering is needed for the next step.
In addition to bringing in better reinforcements during free agency and the 2021 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers need to examine members of the current roster with a view to extending them long-term.
One such individual who will feature heavily in their thoughts is Curtis Samuel.
The wide receiver has grown in confidence after an indifferent start to the campaign. Samuel has carved out an important role for himself and this is sure to come with plenty of interest coming his way if the former second-round pick is allowed to test the free-agent market.
This might end up costing the Panthers, in more ways than one.
They should have more financial resources available in 2021 to make the necessary improvements to playing personnel and tie players down who they feel can help moving forward. Samuel and stud right tackle Taylor Moton are the two most important and if Carolina manages to get them both extended, it would set the tone ahead of the important player-recruitment phase.
Samuel has done enough to earn a substantial pay increase this season. But just how much will the wideout command?
