Taylor Moton – Carolina Panthers OT

While other dynamic playmakers get the majority of the credit, the contribution made by Taylor Moton during the 2020 season has been nothing short of exemplary. The offensive lineman has risen to a completely different level this time around to become one of the NFL’s best at the position and his ability to cope with some of the league’s more dominant pass-rushers with ease has made a lasting impression.

This was a big year for the former second-round pick. Moton was playing on the final season of his rookie deal and there appears little doubt that the right tackle is going to get a substantial pay increase this spring.

If the Carolina Panthers had any sense whatsoever, they would pay him.

Losing someone so talented is simply not an option if they want to be considered as legitimate playoff contenders at the earliest possible opportunity.

There promise to be some big changes to the offensive line in 2021, with as many as four of the five current starters with their futures in doubt. Moton has been the one constant throughout the campaign and this should be recognized with a bumper new deal that is more in keeping with his importance to the organization.
