Amari Rodgers – WR (Clemson)

The next player to keep an eye on is Clemson wide receiver, Amari Rodgers. He was a four-year player for the Tigers and is listed at 5-foot-9 and189 pounds, but he is a slot receiver who plays with an edge.

In 2018, Rodgers was an All ACC all-purpose player as he was a very impressive punt and kick returner for one of the nation’s top teams. While he is not as fast or agile as Rondale Moore, the prospect is very talented with the ball in his hands.

Rodgers has the body of a strong and stocky running back. He can pack a punch and break arm tackles with ease. Like Moore, he projects as a slot receiver, and once again fills a need for the Carolina Panthers, who got a first-hand look at him during their time coaching at the Senior Bowl.

If he lands in Carolina, Rodgers would be able to compete for snaps right away on offense as well as become the team’s primary punt and kick returner. He’s projected to be a Day 2-3 pick and would be a great pick for the Panthers in this range.

Carolina isn’t well known for taking Clemson players throughout history. But this might all change with a new regime.
