  • WR: D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, David Moore, Terrace Marshall Jr, Brandon Zylstra, Shi Smith.

With the loss of Curtis Samuel this offseason, Scott Fitterer made it a priority to strengthen and improve his wide receiver room. Mission accomplished.

D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson will continue their dynamic partnership on the outside in Joe Brady’s offense. The former first-round pick recently had his fifth-year option picked up and has proved to be one of the NFL’s elite receivers despite poor quarterback play his whole career.

The enigmatic Anderson is in a contract year and will look to build off of last year’s 1,000-yard campaign with his former teammate Sam Darnold under center.

Fitterer went out and got David Moore, a big play specialist from the Seattle Seahawks to hopefully replace some of Samuel’s production from last year. The free-agent signing and second-round pick Terrace Marshall Jr. will battle during training camp and into the season for WR3 targets.

Marshall is an amazing talent who is only 20-years-old. He will look to contribute immediately in his former college coach’s offense here Carolina after working with Joe Brady at LSU. He can line-up inside and outside and can make plays all over the field.

The last two spots will be a battle throughout camp. Right now Brandon Zylstra’s experience and blocking ability has him penciled in alongside of this year’s sixth-round pick Shi Smith.

Smith is a speedster who does most of his work out of the slot. Look for 2020 UDFA Omar Bayless and Keith Kirkwood to compete for the final spot if there is one available.
