Carolina Panthers at Buffalo Bills

There are plenty of elements connecting the Carolina Panthers and the Buffalo Bills these days. Plenty of former players and coaching staff are currently employed by the AFC East outfit, which will give this game an added bit of spice in 2021.

The Panthers also managed to boost their front office with a member of the Bills this week. Dan Morgan starred as a player in Carolina and the former Pro Bowl linebacker links up with Scott Fitterer once again in the role of assistant general manager.

This level of intrigue and familiarity between the two parties could see this contest selection for a primetime slot next season. Sean McDermott will look to get one over on his old team as the Bills go in search of the AFC Championship, which they are more than capable of doing providing the team can finally get the better of the Kansas City Chiefs somewhere down the line.

Carolina will also be coming up against Efe Obada for the first time following his free-agent departure. The defensive lineman hasn’t played anywhere else but the Panthers prior to the upcoming campaign and it will be interesting to see just how the versatile veteran is used in McDermott’s scheme.

Realistically speaking, the Panthers will need to play very well to stand a chance of beating the Bills, who appear right on the brink of something special.
