Which members of the Carolina Panthers could be the big winners from the organization’s offseason moves in 2021?

It was expected to be another busy offseason for the Carolina Panthers following the introduction of general manager Scott Fitterer from the Seattle Seahawks. However, few would have predicted such a frenzied period of activity and player turnover, which leaves the roster looking a lot more youthful and athletic than the one that finished the 2020 season with a 5-11 record once again.

The Panthers were extremely active with the limited resources available in free agency, were relentless in their pursuit of a new quarterback in the trade market, and Fitterer demonstrated exceptional board management not seen in Carolina for some time in his way to 11 selections throughout the 2021 NFL Draft.

Whether this will come with an immediate change in fortunes on the field remains to be seen. The Panthers certainly look to have more about them from the outside looking in, although much will depend on how the new recruits pick up the scheme and adapt to their surroundings.

If things click into place right away and Sam Darnold thrives under center, the sky is the limit.

There might also be an opportunity for more divisional success following the retirement of Drew Brees, although the NFC South now boasts the defending Super Bowl champions after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers went on a memorable playoff run to clinch the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at four winners from the Panthers 2021 offseason so far.
