With key offseason activities complete, the Carolina Panthers still have more potential starting talent to go after in free agency should they wish.

So far this offseason, the Carolina Panthers have been on point with addressing needs on the team. They made great moves during free agency while also filling many positions during the 2021 NFL Draft during an eventful three-day process that ended with 11 selections.

Some of the talent the Panthers have selected could be moving into starting roles. However, there is still a lot of veteran players available that could help the team.

Positions like the offensive line, linebacker, and safety still need work. So it will be interesting to see if Carolina adds to their options in the coming weeks.

The Panthers still have cap space to target some affordable starters who could make an impact come training camp. It’s unclear if Carolina will make another move, but they have surprised fans thus far.

While we look at the team’s needs, let’s dive into some options that could become a starter if signed.

Even though the Carolina Panthers made moves to help the offensive line this offseason, there’s still more work to be done. The team signed Cam Erving in free agency and drafted Brady Christensen, but there is still a better option available that could come in and start.

The Panthers have some development players also across their protection, but a veteran like Morgan Moses would significantly improve their immediate chances if he was willing to move over to left tackle.

Moses has 97 career starts and has not missed a game since his second season with the Washington Football Team.

Having a healthy option at tackle would help the Panthers keep consistency on the offensive line. There have been countless times where injuries have hurt them in past seasons and this is something that needs to change.

A consistent and healthy Moses is the perfect option to come in and share the tackle position with Taylor Moton.
