Which Carolina Panthers players made a solid first impression during the opening period of OTAs over the last few days?

The Carolina Panthers got back down to business this week with another portion of OTAs ahead of the new season. Matt Rhule once again got everyone involved and according to media in attendance, there was a good tempo to the team drills which is something that was noticeably evident last summer.

This is the first part of what will hopefully be a strong preparation period for the Panthers. Much more is expected of the talented young group in the second year of Rhule’s reign and there is a fantastic chance to get their 2021 campaign off to a flyer over the first five weeks.

What happens between now and their Week 1 opener against the New York Jets at a packed Bank of America Stadium will ultimately determine how much Carolina can progress next season. The roster all appear to be pulling in the same direction, even though they were without the presence of veteran wide receiver Robby Anderson for OTAs, which were voluntary.

Spirits are high within the camp and the new arrivals look to have fitted in well.

It promises to be a fascinating training camp that will also include a welcome return for preseason games, which is where fringe players can boost their stock in a bid to make the 53-man roster.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at four Panthers players who caught the eye during OTAs.
