What are the best-value signings made by the Carolina Panthers during what was yet another eventful period of recruitment in 2021?

It was a frenzied offseason period for the Carolina Panthers as they looked to bring the right people in place to become more of a factor on the field in 2021.

The introduction of general manager Scott Fitterer saw a completely different mentality both during free agency and the NFL Draft, which was undoubtedly a breath of fresh air for an organization that became somewhat stagnant under the previous regime.

Fitterer wasn’t going to come in and sit on his hands. He was incredibly aggressive in pursuit of strengthening a roster that is now full of young, hungry talent that should all develop at the same time.

Just whether this is going to come with an immediate turnaround in fortunes remains to be seen. Much of the responsibility will be on Sam Darnold’s shoulders following his trade from the New York Jets, but the jury is still out until the former USC star proves capable in a different environment.

Considering the financial constraints the Panthers and others across the league were under, they maneuvered things extremely well.

Carolina’s salary-cap guru Samir Suleiman deserves all the credit in the world for his exemplary work in recent months. Hopefully, the players can repay him with more wins after another 5-11 record in 2021.

Without further ado, we picked out the four best-value signings made by the Panthers this offseason.
