How can the Carolina Panthers improve their fortunes on the offensive side of the ball during the 2021 season?

The Carolina Panthers have an abundance of weapons on offense that could be the catalyst for bigger and better things in 2021. It’s hard to look at this group and not think some substantial numbers are coming their way next season, which would stand them in great stead in pursuit of serious progression when competitive action gets underway.

A big change at quarterback will set the tone for the Panthers one way or another. Sam Darnold was acquired via trade from the New York Jets and how he performs in a more favorable environment will ultimately determine just how far Carolina can go.

Everything is in position for Darnold to succeed.

But in truth, we won’t know for sure until he gets out onto the gridiron with his new teammates.

Carolina Panthers need to turn just being competitive into more wins.

The Panthers had four players go over 1,000 all-purpose yards in 2020 and only had five wins to show for it. They lost eight games by one score – which proves they were competitive – so if they can turn this into more victories, the sky is the limit.

It’s a fine line, of that there is little doubt. But the high upside is there for all to see if everything clicks into place right away.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at four ways the Panthers can improve on offense next season.
