Tommy Tremble – Carolina Panthers TE

The intrigue surrounding Tommy Tremble seems to be growing with every passing week. His aggressive style of play and enticing skills in the passing game could make him a complete tight end with a little more refinement, which is exactly what the Carolina Panthers need as part of their long-term plans.

Carolina obviously sees a lot in Tremble. He was a third-round pick in 2021 and generated plenty of memorable highlights at Notre Dame on his way to becoming one of the most feared second-level blockers in college football.

Tremble drew comparisons to George Kittle during the evaluation process. While it would be unlikely to see him reach this sort of level initially, it appears as if the player is only scratching the surface of what he is truly capable of.

According to Jonathan Alexander of the Charlotte Observer, Tremble certainly looked the part during one-on-one drills, which is obviously a solid foundation from which to build.

What comes next during training camp will be equally as important. If Tremble wants to be considered more than an H-back during his first season at the next level, he needs to prove to the coaching staff his route-running and pass-catching prowess can be relied upon when it matters most.

A solid start. But more might be on the way.
