Robby Anderson will more than double his touchdown numbers from last season

Robby Anderson had a great first season for the Carolina Panthers in 2020. Perhaps the only blemish is the fact he only got into the end zone three times on 95 catches.

This is surprising considering his big-play ability and reputation for torching opposing cornerbacks on deep routes.

Perhaps some of the blame could be placed on the shoulders of former Carolina quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who isn’t known to throw the ball into tight windows or deep down the field.

Bring fair to Bridgewater, he did give Anderson 136 targets in their one season together.

Anderson is a smaller guy and isn’t going to be thrown too often in goal-line situations. However, he is getting an upgrade at quarterback and will be one of the primary weapons on offense.

The former New York Jet will score more than six times this season and put up more than 1,000-yards as he continues to establish himself as one of the better receivers in the league.

Look for Anderson to get off to a very hot start considering Sam Darnold’s comfort level with his former receiver. He will be the go-to guy as the No. 3 overall selection out of USC eases his way into a new offense.
