There is plenty of optimism surrounding the Carolina Panthers in 2021, but that doesn’t mean they won’t end up struggling once again.

This time of year always comes with a sense of optimism within almost every fanbase across the NFL. New arrivals to their respective organizations bring renewed hope that they can lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy and while the Carolina Panthers appear a little way off competing for a Super Bowl, there’s nothing to suggest Matt Rhule’s men aren’t capable of making a notable impression next season.

Nobody knows this more than Rhule, who made a strong impression following his move from Baylor and clearly has every single member of the roster pulling in the same direction.

That being said, there is plenty of reasons to suggest the Panthers might struggle during the upcoming campaign. Here are four such examples.
