What are some evolving storylines to keep a close eye on when the Carolina Panthers descend on Wofford College for training camp in 2021?

Excitement is already building as the Carolina Panthers gear up for a return to familiar surroundings. Training camp will have a more normal feel to it in 2021 after COVID-19 wreaked havoc on preparations for the previous campaign, which wasn’t exactly ideal for a coaching staff entering their first season in prominent roles and a roster that was devoid of any notable experience.

All things considered, the Panthers probably performed better than many expected in 2020. This didn’t amount to anything more than a 5-11 record, obviously. But there is hope more is around the corner after an offseason period of impressive recruitment with new general manager Scott Fitterer at the helm.

What transpires at camp will be crucial. There is far more pressure on the shoulders of Matt Rhule and his staff this time around, after all.

This is still a young team that went through some growing pains last season as expected. So if they can use a more structured preparation period to their advantage, it should bring around more progress when competitive action begins.

With this in mind, here are four evolving storylines to expect during training camp with the Panthers in 2021.
