Which Carolina Panthers players are generating some big-time buzz ahead of the team’s 2021 training camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg?

Training camp is always a source of great excitement. It’s a time when preparations ramp up for the new campaign and sees players get their minds back on the job following a good period of rest after the early offseason program.

The Carolina Panthers are descending on Wofford College in Spartanburg for this year’s camp once again. Another sign things are slowly returning to normal after COVID-19 caused some immense disruption last summer and something that should benefit this young roster considerably.

There is a quiet sense of optimism surrounding the Panthers in 2021. They’ve gone about their business in a productive manner this offseason and providing everything goes well from the outset, a winning record is well within their capability with some outstanding talent at Matt Rhule’s disposal.

With this in mind, here are five Panthers players who are generating some big-time buzz ahead of training camp in 2021.

Perhaps no free-agent signing comes with more potential than Haason Reddick. The edge rusher opted to rejoin his former college coach Matt Rhule on the Carolina Panthers, which is something that could be mutually beneficial if the Temple product gets off on the right foot in 2021.

Reddick’s 12.5-sack campaign with the Arizona Cardinals last season was out of the blue based on his previous production. The Panthers brought him in on a one-year deal in case things don’t continue on this upward curve moving forward, although there is a lot to like about the player’s chances with Brian Burns coming off the opposite side.

If Reddick can produce similar or better numbers next season, then he’ll be expecting to be paid accordingly and Carolina would be smart to keep him around.
