What are some developing problems surrounding the Carolina Panthers through the first two weeks of the 2021 season?

Considering how much momentum was generated by the New Orleans Saints during their thumping win over the Green Bay Packers, it was a sizeable task awaiting the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. However, there is much more substance to Matt Rhule’s roster in 2021.

If the Panthers wanted to make a statement against their NFC South rivals, then it was mission accomplished. Rarely has a Carolina team ever been so dominant versus the Saints on offense and defense, which led to a thoroughly deserved victory to move into the first spot alongside the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Everything seems to be clicking into place for the Panthers, who have a golden chance of attaining their third straight triumph at the troubled Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football. Taking them lightly would be a mistake, but complacency is unlikely to be an issue for a franchise that is taking things one positive step at a time.

Although there was far more good than bad on Sunday, there are some concerns that need rectifying at the earliest possible opportunity if Carolina wants to avoid complications down the line.

Simply put, this is imperative to the team and their chances of mounting a realistic playoff challenge.

With this in mind, here are four developing problems for the Panthers to address through Week 2 of the 2021 season.
