What were the silver linings from the Carolina Panthers’ point of view in their Week 4 contest at the Dallas Cowboys?

After all the talk of what to make of the Carolina Panthers and their impressive opening to the 2021 season, we found out much more about where Matt Rhule’s men are in the grand scheme of things at the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4.

This was arguably their first real test of the campaign outside of the New Orleans Saints. Something that was going to come with a shift in expectations either way depending on the overall outcome.

As it turned out, this was a bad day at the office for the Panthers. They were second-beat throughout their first loss of the campaign at AT&T Stadium, which was a wake-up call for Carolina’s young roster in no uncertain terms.

Without further ado, here are five silver linings from Carolina’s loss at a formidable Dallas team in Week 4.

Carolina Panthers showed some fight

It would have been easy for the Carolina Panthers to roll over when things got out of hand in the third quarter. But this group is not made like that.

Although it wasn’t enough to secure the win, Carolina can take great heart for their fourth-quarter fightback that brought them to within one score. Proof that this roster won’t throw in the towel at any stage.

This is a good sign and something Matt Rhule has looked to install across his roster since arriving at the organization. Hopefully, it can stand them in good stead over the next 13 games.
