Who were the big winners and losers from the Carolina Panthers’  vital victory at the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8?

It took over a month, but the Carolina Panthers have finally gotten themselves back in the win column with a 19-13 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

The offense still wasn’t pretty but the Panthers finally committed to running the ball and it paid off as they held off their division rivals behind another strong defensive performance.

After losing to a very bad New York Giants team just a week ago that led to tons of speculation about the coaching staff and trading for Deshaun Watson, this bounce-back win was much-needed and showed that Carolina is not allowing another free-fall to occur.

Now, this win wasn’t anything special as the Panthers still struggled in many areas offensively. But it showed that they’re not giving up on this coaching staff despite what the media says.

Unfortunately, quarterback Sam Darnold was lost to a concussion near the end of the game and he might have to miss time, something that will be monitored closely throughout the week.
