Zane Gonzalez continues to impress.

He made his only two field-goal attempts last Sunday, from 39 and 49 yards respectively, and six fantasy points. Unfortunately, those were the only points the Carolina Panthers scored in the game.

Fun fact: Gonzalez’s most efficient kicking season to date was in 2019 when he was a member of the Arizona Cardinals. And he’ll have an extra source of motivation to get one over on his former team in Week 10.

Buyer Beware.

The Cardinals only allow an average of five fantasy points per game to kickers. Gonzalez is capable of having a big game, but I doubt this offense will give him enough opportunities.

Nobody can deny that the Panthers’ defense is doing their job. The unit tallied two sacks and two turnovers while limiting the New England Patriots offense to 18 points en route to a seven-point fantasy total.

Going into Week 10, Carolina is the 12th best in fantasy, second in total yards allowed, second in passing yards allowed, seventh in points allowed, and the fourth-best defense on third down.

This decision comes down to one question: will Kyler Murray play?

The star quarterback was on the practice field on Friday but Murray is reportedly going to be a game-time decision.

The Cardinals looked good in his absence last week, mostly due to their impressive running game. The Panthers are better at stopping the run than the San Francisco 49ers, but Murray – even without DeAndre Hopkins – will present bigger problems for this team if he starts.
