Carolina Panthers just went through the motions
One can go through the intricacies of such a demoralizing defeat for days. But the simple fact of the matter is one team came to play, and the other did not.
It’s unacceptable from top to bottom. Something that Brian Burns had clearly enough of when spotted launching a tirade at his teammate on the sideline.
The Carolina Panthers look broken. And this comes just a fortnight after a shock win at the Arizona Cardinals.
There was a distinct lack of cohesion or effort throughout the game. Two things that every successful organization needs if they want to truly be considered as a contender.
Getting some time off might be the worst thing for the Panthers right now. Although the fanbase will probably welcome a week off from cheering this team.
Coaches and players need to take a good long look in the mirror. Otherwise, it’s going to be a long end to the season with some stiff upcoming challenges – two of which are against the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It’s time for the Panthers to show some pride.
To show some fight.
Because make no mistake about it, many of them are fighting for their futures.
