Devin White – LB
Yes, even with Lavonte David out, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still have plenty of good linebackers.
Shaquil Barrett’s obvious qualities have already been mentioned. But the dynamic Devin White is another huge threat that will likely cause a big problem for the Carolina Panthers offense at Bank of America Stadium.
White leads the team with 118 total tackles, which ranks 10th in the NFL. The former first-round pick has performed better each week as the season has gone on and should be able to make a significant difference when the postseason rolls around.
In just his third NFL season, White has proven to be one of the league’s better defensive players over the past two campaigns and he’s been a substantial contributor to the Bucs lockdown run defense.
Just two weeks ago, White sacked Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen 1.5 times and had a 10 tackle day. A testament to his outstanding ability to impact all phases of defensive play.
White has an opportunity to feast against a poor Carolina offense and stopping him should be one of the team’s biggest priorities in pursuit of success.
