Carolina Panthers OL

Does this sound familiar?

It should.

The Carolina Panthers offensive line is atrocious and every player on it besides Taylor Moton shouldn’t be a regular starter next year. Led by long-time nemesis Cameron Jordan, the New Orleans Saints managed to sack Sam Darnold seven times, with 3.5 coming from the veteran defensive end alone.

Rookie Brady Christensen started at left tackle and did a decent job, making the outside line actually look decent with Moton on the other side. But the interior line was once again a disaster and it’s a problem that needs to take top priority this offseason.

Pat Elflein started at center and Michael Jordan was back at left guard. Neither did anything to particularly impress.

Most notably, right guard John Miller was awful once again. With his “sacks happen” comment post-game offering no sort of accountability for a dismal outing that should be his last in a Carolina uniform.

In total, the Panthers were held to less than 200 yards on offense.

While quarterback is a huge issue, the protection has been the biggest problem from start to finish this year and should be completely overhauled this offseason.
