5 Panthers draft picks who must reach their potential in 2022

Kenny Robinson – Carolina Panthers S
It’s been a rough ride for Kenny Robinson throughout his NFL career so far. The safety has been in and out of the lineup and was even cut by the Carolina Panthers at one stage, but he grew in stature as the 2021 season went on and hopes are much higher for the player now than they were this time last year.
Robinson seized the opportunity of more playing time in no uncertain terms. He was a key contributor on special teams and made some eye-catching plays as a member of the defensive rotation down the stretch to further enhance his overall influence.
This is a good start for Robinson. But what comes next is equally as important and if he impresses again this offseason, then a starting spot is well within his grasp.
Should Robinson be able to accomplish this, then it would be a remarkable turnaround. There’s been nothing boring about the former XFL star’s football life to date and if his progression late in the season is any indication, more could be on the way.
It is still a precarious situation for Robinson. But he deserves an endless amount of credit for bringing his career back from almost the bring to become a valued contributor.
Reaching his potential next time around is of paramount importance. However, Robinson does have a significant amount of momentum right now.
