5 best moves of Carolina Panthers 2022 free agency so far

Carolina Panthers strengthened the OL
One would have to be pretty blind not to see a glaring need for the Carolina Panthers this offseason. The offensive line was a disaster almost from start to finish in 2021 and some significant investment was needed to sure-up this critical area of the field next time around.
Thankfully, this was also something highlighted by general manager Scott Fitterer, with the Panthers bringing in two experienced figures on the interior that could reap some significant rewards when competitive action begins once again.
Austin Corbett is coming off a Super Bowl campaign with the Los Angeles Rams and is an instant upgrade at the right guard position. Couple this with Bradley Bozeman’s arrival from the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year deal and it’s not hard to envisage things looking up for Carolina’s protection next season.
More will be needed, obviously. The Panthers need to find themselves a franchise left tackle either in free agency or the 2022 NFL Draft, but they will be in a tremendous position should the front office manages to accomplish this.
The NFL is a quarterback-driven league. This will dictate Carolina’s chances in 2021 when it’s all said and done, but having stable protection is going to do opportunity for genuine progression no harm at all.
