Carolina Panthers could sign Will Fuller
From the outside looking in, it appears as if the Carolina Panthers are set at the wide receiver position following the signing of Rashard Higgins and the team’s decision to restructure rather than trade Robby Anderson this offseason. However, no organization can ever have enough skilled contributors, and there is also fresh speculation surrounding the future of Shi Smith after his recent arrest.
Spending more money on the position after giving D.J. Moore a lucrative contract might not be in Carolina’s train of thought right now. However, there are questions surrounding Anderson, Terrace Marshall Jr. Smith, and even Higgins to a certain extent after none really made a lasting impression last time around.
If Christian McCaffrey also suffers more injury problems, then it only leaves Moore as the team’s truly reliable option in the passing game. There is also the question marks at the quarterback position to take into consideration.
Although he has had problems staying healthy of late, Will Fuller has some previous outstanding production and is a game-changing factor over intermediate routes as well as further down the football field.
Fuller turned out just three times for the Miami Dolphins in 2021. But he was a significant deep threat during his time with the Houston Texans and depending on the cost, might be of some use if others at Carolina’s disposal don’t meet their respective targets.
