5 offseason moves by Panthers’ NFC South rivals that made us laugh

The Tom Brady retiring fiasco in Tampa Bay
Okay, this laughter is a different type of laugh.
The Carolina Panthers aren’t laughing at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but more at just how ridiculous this entire offseason was with Tom Brady retiring, then unretiring, and returning to the organization in double-quick time.
For a brief few weeks, the league, and especially the NFC South thought Brady was done. At least for this season. He hung it up and Tampa Bay was set to re-build with many veterans out of contract.
Then, Brady returned to the Bucs.
Just this week, head coach Bruce Arians – who guided the team to the Super Bowl two seasons ago – retired and passed over the job to Todd Bowles.
The Buccaneers had a great offseason and are fortunate that Brady returned. But to not laugh about what exactly happened is just hard to do.
Or maybe you’re angry? Or sad? There is a mix of emotions that could have come from this. But it’s best just to laugh and move forward in the hope those in power within the Carolina Panthers can get their own house in order.
