4 best-case draft scenarios for the Carolina Panthers in 2022

Carolina Panthers find more gems late on
Things might not have gone according to plan for the Carolina Panthers in terms of results and genuine progression over the last two years. But the organization cannot be faulted for its impressive draft selections over the mid-to-late rounds.
This has seen many players come in and make immediate contributions. Something that could mean there is more to come from these particular individuals under the leadership of coaches that have seen it all in the NFL.
The proof is there for all to see.
- Round No. 4: Troy Pride Jr. (CB), Chuba Hubbard (RB)
- Round No. 5: Kenny Robinson (S), Daviyon Nixon (DT), Keith Taylor Jr. (CB)
- Round No. 6: Bravvion Roy (DT), Shi Smith (WR), Deonte Brown (OL), Thomas Fletcher (LS)
- Round No. 7: Stantley Thomas-Oliver III (CB), Phil Hoskins (DT)
Some misses there, for sure. But one cannot look at that list and not think it’s a nice haul from a stage of the draft that is immensely hard to figure out.
More of the same in 2022 would be another best-case scenario for the Panthers. One that could make another huge difference alongside the other recently acquired college recruits expected to improve.
Things are hanging by a threat regarding Carolina’s aspirations next season. Even a little from the draft would go a long way.
