Which Carolina Panthers find themselves on the hot seat ahead of a crunch Week 2 contest against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium?

The Carolina Panthers have a huge amount on the line when they travel to the New York Giants in Week 2. This already represents a must-win game for the organization following their opening day loss to the Cleveland Browns, which was an eighth-straight reverse and a 13th in the last 15 contests dating back to last season.

Things will not be easy at MetLife Stadium. The Giants have a renewed sense of purpose under head coach Brian Daboll, who drew significant praise for his bold approach during an eye-catching triumph at the Tennessee Titans to kick off their campaign.

Carolina has a lot of work ahead and not much time to put things right. Starting the season 0-2 when there was so much optimism during the preparation period is not an option, so huge improvements are needed in what is expected to be a hostile atmosphere.

With this in mind, here are five Panthers on the hot seat in Week 2.

From a blocking standpoint, Pat Elflein had some nice moments in Week 1. But some suspect snaps and overall communication left a lot to be desired.

Elflein somehow managed to survive the offensive line revamp this offseason. However, the Carolina Panthers have free-agent signing Bradley Bozeman waiting in the wings if the former Ohio State standout cannot turn things around quickly.

And who knows, maybe Bozeman will come in this weekend given how desperate Carolina is to end an extremely concerning run of results.
