Experiencing Carolina Panthers in person

My burning question: What medication are you taking to help with your blood pressure after that game? – Josh Huffman

Thank you for this question, Josh. The wave of emotions I had during the game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium was unbelievable.

If you follow me on Twitter, I announced a couple of weeks ago that I would be attending the game this past weekend. Let me tell you that I along with tens of thousands of other fans in attendance on Sunday got their money’s worth with one of the best games of the year so far.

Crazy enough, this was the first NFL game that I had attended in four years. My last game was when the Carolina Panthers hosted the Cincinnati Bengals early in 2018 – a time when they had legitimate hope and optimism around the franchise and its potential direction.

I can say that going to the game this past weekend was one of my best experiences. Whether it was an NFL, college, or high school encounter.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is absolutely beautiful and massive. The food and beverages were great and at a very low price, and Atlanta Falcons fans were really kind and respectful. I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience when interacting with people from that fanbase.

While it was disappointing that Carolina lost in the fashion they did, I can say that I had a great time, walking out of the stadium with a big grin on my face. It was great to be a fan for a day.
