He has been writing about the NFL for nearly a decade, previously contributing to several national outlets, and currently serves as an NFL team reporter for On SI, part of the Sports Illustrated company. Jared graduated from UNC Asheville with a bachelor's degree in mass communications and later pursued his master's degree at UNC Charlotte. A native of Western North Carolina, he enjoys listening to music, catching up on podcasts, and rewatching 'The West Wing'.
