4 major threats the Carolina Panthers must silence in Week 9 at Bengals

Carolina Panthers must silence Joe Burrow
Now to finally address the elephant in the room.
Joe Burrow is always going to be dangerous. Even after a disappointing start to the season that had some questioning the long-term viability of the LSU product, those doubts have been largely forgotten.
The Cincinnati Bengals’ offense is firing on all cylinders and that wouldn’t be possible without the play of Burrow under center. Even when you consider the weapons at the quarterback’s disposal.
This is bad news for the Carolina Panthers as the only real way anyone was able to stop Burrow last season is pressure. That’s not exactly this team’s selling point on top of the banged-up secondary that’s had moments of vulnerability this year.
Steve Wilks is going to have to pull something out of nowhere to settle down Burrow and this high-powered offense that has every ability to run the Panthers out of the building. Without stopping the quarterback, this team has no chance of keeping things remotely close.
The Panthers simply can’t keep up on offense. This team is not made for a shootout and everyone knows it, even when you consider the breakout performance at the Atlanta Falcons.
Burrow will always be the key to any Bengals game. That is no different this weekend.
