Which Carolina Panthers players find themselves on the hot seat during a tricky-looking clash against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11?

After such an encouraging display on Thursday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons, Steve Wilks and the Carolina Panthers get a solid measuring stick in Week 11. The Baltimore Ravens represent a stiff challenge on their travels, which will tell us plenty about how far this team has come in a short space of time.

Carolina is a heavy underdog and rightfully so. The Ravens look poised for a deep postseason run if they can secure the divisional crown and they will be well-rested coming off their bye week to further complicate matters from the Panthers’ perspective.

Not having any expectations might give Carolina the freedom needed to express themselves in tough surroundings. But for many, time is rapidly running out to carve out a future beyond the current campaign.

With this in mind, there are four Panthers players on the hot seat in Week 11 at the Ravens.

Considering how restrictive things might be for the Carolina Panthers offense during a tough road game, this might be the time we finally see more involvement from the tight-end position. Something that represents a big opportunity for Ian Thomas to finally get his campaign on track.

The former fourth-round selection’s been a relative bystander once again despite flashing in Week 1. This is a major disappointment when one considers how much offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo likes to use tight ends as part of his game plan.

The Panthers need a security blanket across the middle in this one. Whether Thomas can become this is debatable based on his production in 2022 so far.
