Offensive Line: B-

Backup center Tyler Larsen continues to impress in the absence of veteran captain Ryan Kalil. For the third straight week Larsen anchored the Panthers offensive line and arguably had his best performance to date.

The line protected Newton allowing only two sacks and repeatedly gave the franchise quarterback time to find open targets down the field. After weeks of poor play and pressure, Newton’s big day was also the result of good offensive line play.

One of the few negatives occurred when guard Trai Turner was removed for injury and backup Amini Silatolu immediately was called for holding forcing the Panthers first three-and-out of the game midway through the fourth quarter.
