Offensive Line: B+

Playing without guard Trai Turner for the first time this season, Carolina managed to protect Newton fairly well. While the run game didn’t execute as it has previously, the line did occasionally create substantial running lanes for McCaffrey.

Although the one sack allowed ended any opportunity for more points off another Packers turnover, good protection for the majority of the game allowed Newton time to operate in the pocket. Amini Silatolu, who started for the first time since 2015, played well in Turner’s absence.
